This is something I sometimes hear from a seller and they don't always understand the meaning of the feedback. I know that across the country whether or not a showing agent will even give feedback is questionable. Everyone has their reasons but in Cleveland Ohio, feedback is alive and well.
This, however is not a post about whether or not an agent should give feedback. It's about what a seller's takeaway is when they receive it. More often than not, an agent will not comment on the price, at least in my experience, unless the feedback form specifically requests it.
This is some of the feedback I have received on some of my listings over the years:
* the bedrooms are too small
* want a finished basement
* didn't like the corner lot
* too much updating
* too close to a relative
* didn't like the lot
* didn't like the floor plan
* too many personal pictures on the wall
* too much wallpaper
* odor in the house from smoking
* odor in the house from pets
* really wanted an attached garage
* really wanted a basement
* not open enough
* kitchen not big enough
* just started looking
