The Broadview Heights Ohio Recreation Center has great programs for all ages but here are some specific ones that senior citizens might enjoy or find useful.
Beginner computer classes, a series of 6, two hour sessions, but limited to 7 students per class. Time and date will be scheduled upon registration.
The SMILE program, which is a low intensity exercise program designed for physically inactive older adults, who may have limited mobility. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. (My Mom and Dad who are 86 and 85 attend this every week.)
Like to play cards? You can, every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. There is no charge and refreshments are provided.
So grab your deck of cards, sneakers, or mouse and go have some fun socializing, getting fit, or sharpening those computer skills!
