Emerald Woods Brecksville Ohio Real Estate Market Report 4th Quarter 2011

Emerald Woods is a beautiful community of well appointed homes! It is conveniently located to the freeway and close to the gorgeous metroparks! It is just a few minutes east of the center of town providing easy access to downtown Brecksville. Below is the 4th quarter market report as it compares to 4th quarter 2010.  These numbers are not surprising given the time of year and I would expect the 3 homes for sale to be entertaining offers in the first quarter. It's as important as ever that if your home will be on the market, it must be super clean, wallpaper removed, walls freshly painted, carpets cleaned, and above all, competitively priced! Interest rates are still very low and buyers are looking but they still want the best house for the money. If your home is on the market or soon will be, try not to miss a showing, make sure you have the best pictures possible and consider every offer!

Echo Hills Brecksville Ohio Real Estate Market Report 4th Quarter 2011

Below is the 4th quarter market report for Echo Hills as it compares to 4th quarter 2010. There was still a downturn in the market in Echo Hills but perhaps not quite as severe as some other areas. It's as important as ever that if your home will be on the market, it must be super clean, wallpaper removed, walls freshly painted, carpets cleaned, and above all, competitively priced! Echo Hills is a community of approximately 300 homes with so many wonderful amenities that you hardly ever have to leave home. In Echo Hills you can enjoy a swimming lake, fishing lake, plenty of green space, playground, soccer and baseball field and a volleyball court. Activities are planned throughout the year making Echo Hills a great place to call home.

This is a  HUGE year for the city of Brecksville Ohio as it celebrates its' 200th Anniversary!!

The Brecksville Bicentennial Committee has been hard at work planning this great celebration. Here are just a few of the events to look forward to this summer and throughout the year.

Monday May 30th at 10:45, MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

Time Capsule. The capsule will be buried at the end of this year and not to be opened until 2061. Do you have a suggestion of what should go in the time capsule? Stop by the Community Center and let them know.

June 12Th, BICENTENNIAL HOME AND GARDEN TOUR. Tour the insides of the historic homes of Brecksville. Tour begins at city hall.

June 23rd, BRECKSVILLE HOME DAYS begin at 5:00p.m. and continue until Sunday evening.

Sat. July 16th (1-5P.M.) and Sun. July 17th, (12-3P.M.) CHIPPEWA GARDEN CLUB presents "Red, White, and Blooming" in honor of the bicentennial. Brecksville Community Center, One Brecksville Dr.

Aug. 14th, 1-4 P.M. Brecksville Historical Association Annual Corn Roast at Squire Rich Museum
