The numbers you see below are fairly typical first quarter results. Some of the closed and contingent sales likely went under contract in December and early January. I have been very busy during the first quarter as is the case with many of the agents in my office. I would expect a good increase in the number of transactions in the second quarter. Although the number of transactions will increase, it remains to be seen whether or not there will be a significant increase in closed sales prices. The yellow areas represent an increase from 4th quarter. Many buyers and sellers are trying to take advantage of the tax credit, which ends on April 30th 2010
