Hanging Baskets From Blooming Acres Greenhouse Hudson Ohio
The weather in Cleveland has been so wonderful this year. It dawned on me that we barely had any snow in March or April this year which is quite unbelievable. In addition we had some of the warmest temps on record n those months. Combine that with the nice weather we will have until and probably through October, and that gives us nice weather for 8 months of the year!! in Cleveland Ohio!!
So I decided to get a jump start on my flowers this year and visited a nursery call Blooming Acres. I heard about them at, of all places, a broker's open house. Imagine that!
Blooming Acres has 2 locations:
5202 Darrow Rd in Hudson Ohio
7529 State Rd. in Wadsworth Ohio
I went to the Hudson location where I found a helpful and pleasant staff and the gorgeous hanging baskets you see below. They are humongous! The single color baskets are $19.99 and the 2 or more colors are $23.99. They also have ones that are larger than the ones I bought which are more expensive. But I could barely fit these into my plant stand! I mentioned to the owner that by August or so my plants don't look quite as good. She reminded me that plants have to be fed (yes I had to be reminded because I pretty much have a brown thumb and all I do is water them). So now I will make sure I feed them as well and they should look great the whole season.
