Last year I was contacted by Judy whose daughter attends our church. She needed to sell her Mom Alice's home because Alice needed to be in a nursing home.
I sold the home in a few months to a young couple.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from Judy. In it she told me that she, her daughter, and granddaughter were visiting her Mom when a young lady came in asking for Alice. It was the young lady that bought the house and she came with a vase of fresh flowers from Alice's yard. She also brought along pictures of the renovations they made to the house. She told Alice that she did not want her to be sad about her former home, but happy because she and her boyfriend were very happy there.
Judy was very touched by this incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture. She said that now when she drives past the house, she will have one more memory to add to all the others.
