The name alone conjures up terrible thoughts but for those who live in and around Broadview Heights Ohio, it means the famous haunted house is back and ready to scare the pants off of you and those who dare to go with you!
Bloodview Haunted House is the only charity haunted house in Cuyahoga county and is sponsored by the Broadview Heights Ohio Lyon's Club. It is built and staffed by The Legion of Terror, the world's oldest improvisational horror acting, makeup, and special FX organization.
Every actor is a volunteer. No salaries or hourly wages.
Be aware that the show can be graphic and is not recommended for children under 8,
expectant mothers, those with heart conditions or who might experience an adverse reaction to strobes and artificial fog. There is plenty of parking, a covered waiting area, food vendors, and bathroom facilities.
I attended this wonderful production many years ago and I do remember the fear. I should go again but I don't know, I'm at that heart attack age!!

Hi Barb~ It sounds like a lot of fun if you like being scared! I couldn't go, but I think it is a great idea! I don't like scary movies either!
This is waycool! What a great way to raise money and scare everyone at the same time!
Scarrrrrryyy, we have a big old mansion house in a nearby town that runs a haunted house tour every October for the whole month. They put a ton of effort into it and I am not sure if it makes a profit or not.
Hi everyone! This is a great cause and from what I understand it is packed for the entire time it runs! BOO!
Wow, looks like a great and very scary show! I don't know if I could handle it. I have a phobia from haunted houses as I was terrified of a vampire in one as a small child :)!
Barb.....Sounds like great fun for those who want to be scared out of their skin!
I LOVE Haunted Houses, scary movies and all things Halloween! The Bloodview Haunted House sounnds awesome and I know I would go if I were in the area.
How cool is that, Barbara! Like Leesa, I love haunted houses (my boys liked them when they were little and I had so much fun watching them, I grew to love them too!)
Hope you get to go and enjoy and have a great time!
Thanks Debe. I don't know if my heart can stand it. It is really quite the show...or maybe I'm just a big baby!
Barb-this sounds like so much fun!! We have a similar one in our area that the School of the Deaf puts on. We were quite honored to have Extreme Makeover Home Addition here a week ago to overhaul the haunted house, dorms and provide hearing aids with the latest technology. I'm trying to get the nerve up to visit the new one since Rob Zombie was actually called in. I have bruises just from volunteering.... I'm not sure my heart can take all of the improvements! The last haunted houses I was in was at Universal Studios in Orlando about 10 years ago on my son's Make a Wish trip. That pretty much cured me on anything that "scary". ;-)
Hi Mel, What a wonderful cause! I'm with you on the scary stuff. I need rest and relaxation after working in real estate all day:)
